For the last nine years, 10-year-old Kiruthika, has been fighting with Cynotic Congenital Heart Disease. Where the valves carrying pure and impure blood gets mixed and also causing less oxygen flow.
When Kiruthika was 6-months-old, doctors diagnosed that she is suffering Cynotic Congenital Heart Disease and has to undergo surgery for in a couple of years. Cynotic refers to change in color of the skin to bluish green due to impure blood flow.
Last year when Kiruthika's parents approached hospitals for heart surgery the authorities said the surgery would cost around Rs. 10 Lakhs. Coming from a rural village with agricultural background, Kiruthika's parents Mohan Raj and Jeyalakshmi did not know what to do but fortunately with the help of few charities and social minded people Kiruthika underwent surgery by last year February but she had a little intolerance towards it and doctors suggested that once she is normal, she has to undergo complex open heart surgery to maintain good heart heath.
The suggested complex open heart surgery has to be done within November and it costs Rs. 4 Lakhs for it.
