About

Abbas Sugil a 25 year old silent, unnoticed physically challenged badminton player from Coimbatore.  He has been trained at Lifespring Badminton Academy, Coimbatore. 

Achievements

  • At 2015 and 2016, he is the winner of National Level and All India Level tournament for Para Badminton 

  • He has won bronze medal on doubles match at Para Badminton Championship held on August 2016 at Indonesia

About the Event

Now, Abbas Sugil has been qualified for Spanish Para -  Badminton International 2017 to be held at Alcudia, Mallorca from March 07-12th 2017. He hasn't received any fund from Government, total expense costs around Rs.80,000. 

Cost Breakdown:

Flight - Rs.54,000(if booked within Feb 8, 2017 Wednesday if not flight price might get increased)

Accomodation - Rs.20,000

Food - Rs.15,000

Abbas has already collected Rs.20,000 from his family and friends. He needs Rs.34,000 within a day or two to book flight tickets.

Sugil has reached Mumbai to practice doubles with his partner, practice will go for 5 days and he will be leaving to Spain on March 6 from Mumbai
