Meet Malarvizhi(18 years old), who is an inspiration for all of us due to the dedication and passion towards her study. Malarvizhi is a daughter of farmer Kumaraesan. She comes from a very small village named Kanchivakkam, from Kancheepuram district.
Right from young age Malarvizhi showed interest in studies and when she secured 488 in her 10 board exams, she told her teachers that she wanted to become a doctor and from on that day he started working towards her passion. She studied at Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School, where the teachers encouraged her in all ways.
With all her hard work Malarvizhi secured 1171 in her 12th board exams and she attended NEET coaching class with the help of NGO and finally she secured 243 in NEET and got into Karpaga Vinayaga Institute Of Medical Science through first graduate quota.
But sadly the fee for one year is 5lakhs and we all know, how much the farmers and their families are suffering for their basic needs. Malarvizhi father Kumaraesan is a farmer who works on farm land for daily wages and earns approximately Rs. 5000 - Rs. 6000 per moth and with mother doing house hold works she earns Rs.2000 per month and affording 5lakhs for their daughters education is unimaginable
This is very important for Malarvizhi because she says "it is my dream to become a doctor and sincerely serve the society". Let us all get together and help Malarvizhi to pursue her dreams
Malarvizhi joined college on August 29th, with all the inductions and introductory classes over by last week and her classes has started now.
She is very much thankful to each and every one who contributed for her education and made her dream come true. Thank you for your generous contributions.
Thank you all for your continues contribution!
Since the 2nd counseling, management quota and NRI quota admissions are not over yet the college management still didn't confirm the joining date. First the management said 17-20 Aug as joining date but due to delayed counseling now they have postponed to August last week or September 1st week.
Will keep you all posting once we get further updates.
Thank you for your tremendous love and support. This means a lot to Malarvizhi.
For now Malarvizhi has collected few money from known sources and paid to college to confirm her admission. The college authorities haven't confirmed the reopen date. They have told the reopening will be tentatively after August 10th(which is not sure yet). Once she gets into college the raised money will be transferred to her to pay her complete fee.
Thank you everyone once again..
